Onguard joins UN Global Compact
Committing to Ten Principles for responsible business
The business world has a special role to play in the world’s track to sustainability by 2030. Following Visma in 2022, we are now a member of the UN Global Compact Network Netherlands, proudly driving corporate awareness for a better tomorrow!
By committing to integrate the Ten Principles for responsible business practices, we proudly join 24.000+ other signatories from 160+ countries, actively working in the areas of:
-human rights,
-labour,
-environment and
-anti-corruption,
…in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
Proud partners of Unicef
supporting youth development
Visma supports youth entrepreneurship through the UPSHIFT programme, while providing UNICEF with essential business software.
Visma has long been an active supporter of UNICEF’s work to help vulnerable children around the world. Since 2017, we have funded the following efforts:
- 2017–2019: Various education projects in Romania
- 2020–2021: Delivery of Covid vaccines in developing countries
- 2022: Programmes for children affected by the war in Ukraine
- 2023: Programmes for children affected by the war in the Middle East
- 2024–2026: UPSHIFT, a programme nurturing young entrepreneurs
In 2024, in addition to supporting UPSHIFT, we will provide financial support to UNICEF’s Core Resources for Results (RR), which gives flexible and restriction-free funding that can be used wherever and whenever the need is greatest.
